Hañsa Flow

is a system that encourages a higher therapeutic element to the current contemporary yoga practices and body movement modalities.  Based on Hañsa international therapeutic system, Hañsa Flow classes are sound, safe and sequenced to support functionality, growth and developing knowledge to optimise health.

Hañsa Flow is a practice that supports the student’s ability to move and live well.

Hañsa Flow Certification (Teacher Training)

 
  • The Hañsa Flow certifications intensives have been developed to introduce students to the fundamental mechanics of yoga therapy.

    The certification intensives match the vinyasa-based model, and Its primary objective is to talk about yoga through the idea of "transitioning" rather than the traditional view of posture.

    Teaching methodology will cover eastern and western concepts, with a specific emphasis on contemporary models like developmental patterns ideology and the evolutionary body movement concepts.

    The Hañsa Flow practices are sequenced to have four repeated bio-rhythmical themes that will be updated for certified teachers quarterly. Each theme will align with developmental patterns that support posture, encourage efficient movement and overall ease. The goal is to develop practices that create supportive environments for deep self-learning and assist each student self-regulate their own body.

    • Common areas of dysfunction or disconnection.

  • This training is suitable for any yoga practitioner, student or teacher with an interest in therapeutic yoga, easeful movement and the development of self-practice.

  • Upon successful completion of the Hañsa Flow Certification Intensive Training, students:

    Are awarded the Level 1 Hañsa Flow Teacher certification

    Have the ability to teach a basic Hañsa Flow practice

    Are eligible to subscribe to a yearly professional membership where they’ll get sequence videos to update their teaching and practice

  • LEVEL 1

    By taking this certification, upon its successful completion, you’ll be awarded a Level 1 Hañsa Flow Teacher.

    To maintain certification, Hañsa flow teachers are required to submit 5-minute video evidence of their teaching practice (in a general class) twice-a-year for evaluation by a member of the Hañsa international faculty.

    To maintain Hañsa Flow Certification you will need to undertake continued professional development (CPD) an annual Black Swan membership is required to facilitate this.

    You are also required to submit 5-minute video evidence of your teaching practice in a general class settings twice-a-year for evaluation by a member of the Hañsa international faculty.

    LEVEL 2

    To get certified as a Hañsa Flow Teacher – Level 2, student must:

    1) Have a 1-year stand-down period where students are maintaining, teaching, practicing and deepening the Hañsa Flow practice

    2) Successfully completed a Hañsa Therapy Professional training (equivalent to a 200-hour Therapy Training) or a Hañsa Advance Therapy Training (equivalent to a 300-hour Therapy Training)

    Upon successful completion of the Level 2 Flow Certification, students are:

    Awarded the Level 2 Hañsa Flow Teacher certification

    Considered a senior Hañsa Flow with an advance understanding of the flow practice

    Able to take the Advance Hañsa Flow training

    Requirements to maintain the Level 2 certification is the same as Level 1
