HAÑSA THERAPY PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
The Hañsa therapy system develops a student’s ability to understand and apply advanced anatomy, biomechanics, and appreciate developmental consequences to dysfunctional movement patterns. Hansa therapy system explores behavioural from a multi layered movement to motivation concept to define safe and right practice that re-patterns the body back to wellbeing.
Hañsa therapy training places a large focus on self- development and awareness to enable students and teachers to embody therapeutic protocols and practice to assist in understanding the art of administering therapy. Personal practice is the key in finding supportive solutions.
Hañsa Therapy explores what is functional, integrative and what is balanced from both an experiential and scientific perspective.
Using the model of developmental patterns the body is viewed from a qualitative angle, all physical actions and reactions, body patterns are observed from a functional base. To restore physical balance Hañsa Therapy uses a variety of tools, bodywork techniques, rehabilitation protocols, assessment procedures and movement therapy are taught to enhance awareness, body movement and greater postural relationships.
Hañsa Therapy Professional Training - Level 1
This training is equivalent to standard Yoga Alliance 200-hour Yoga Training. It provides the opportunity for students to better understand the biomechanics of functional, dynamic movement in the context of: Thoracic rhythm, the pelvic puzzle, and the shoulder complex. These areas of the body provide the platform to explore movement patterning, rehabilitation and Hañsa flow practice with a therapeutic focus.
Learning and practice from each therapy module are then integrated during an assessment that creates an environment of critical, integrated inquiry within the three physiological and energetic systems explored in the 200-hour Hañsa Therapy Training. The assessment is an appraisal of each student’s understanding of therapy principles and ability to apply them.

Teacher Training FAQ
We have a 200-hour Hañsa Fundamental Yoga Training that teaches foundational yoga for people who are interested to learn yoga through a functional and bio-mechanical perspective.
This program is suitable for you if you’re looking for a training similar to the standard 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training.
However, we normally do this training by request in collaboration with different yoga organisers or studios. If you have a group and wish to engage us in our 200-hour Hañsa Fundamental Yoga Teacher Training program, please contact us at email@example.com and we can discuss the matter further.
If you already went through a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, you can take our Hañsa Flow Certification Intensive Training.
The Hañsa Flow Certification Intensive Training is a 4-day training that provides the background, practice and philosophy of flow as a movement practice. You will also study a sequence and see how these movements embody the Hañsa therapeutics system.
Upon successful completion of the training, you’ll be awarded the Level 1 Hañsa Flow Teacher certification and you have the ability to teach a basic Hañsa Flow practice.

We recommend taking all of our teacher training offline and in person because the applications of the Hañsa principles, especially the Functional Touch techniques, involve layered and subtle nuances that can only be experienced in person.
However, to accommodate the limitation of the pandemic, we have set up hybrid formats for our trainings.
If you’re interested in being a certified Hañsa Flow teacher, you can begin your training by taking the Online Principles of Flow training. You can later complete your flow training by joining a Level 1 Hañsa Flow Certification Intensive whenever it becomes possible for you to join the offline training.
If you’re interested in taking one of the Hañsa Therapy trainings, we’ll be launching a hybrid Hañsa Professional training soon, where each module of the training will be delivered in combination of online lectures and recordings, and completed with an offline weekend training.
Sign up to our newsletter below to be notified of our upcoming trainings to join them!
At the moment, we don’t have one planned. We’re continually monitoring social restrictions related to the pandemic and we will hold one as soon as it’s feasible to do so.
We’ll announce our upcoming training through this website, our social channels (Facebook and Instagram), and our newsletter, which you can sign up to below.
